Easy Tuna Casserole

The first time I ate tuna casserole was in high school at a friend’s house. Today, this easy tuna casserole is one of the fastest meals to make because it uses ingredients that you may already have at home or they’re easy to find at your local grocer’s. It’s for the lazy and/or busy folks out there. And even better, it’s filling!

Bag of egg noodles
2 cans of tuna
1 can of mixed vegetables or a small bag of mixed vegetables
1 can of Cream of Chicken soup
1 can of Cream of Chicken and Mushroom soup
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp of salt
1 lb or 1 small bag of shredded cheese
Bread crumbs (optional)
Fried onions (optional)
Pepper and seasoned salt (for taste)

Pre-heat over to 350 degrees

Place noodles in a large pot with oil and salt and boil for 5 minutes
Drain noodles and place them in a 8-9 inch baking dish
Drain tuna cans of oil/water
Add tuna, mixed vegetables and soup to the noodles in the baking dish and mix it all together
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top
Cover baking dish and put it in the oven for 30 minutes

After 30 minutes, take the baking dish out, and sprinkle bread crumbs or fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
